##
**Account Closures, Transfers & Withdrawals**

### **How do I close my Titan account?**

To close your Titan account, login here and click into your investment account > select **Settings** > select **Close Account**. This action will initiate a full liquidation of any remaining funds and ensure your account is closed thereafter.

Alternatively, you can send a message to the Wealth Team via chat or via email to [support@titan.com](mailto:support@titan.com). If you are requesting a liquidation to your linked bank, please confirm which bank account you would like the funds to be sent to.

From there, our team will submit the request on your behalf, or will walk you through next steps pending on how you would like to transfer the funds. Your account closure will not be complete until all funds have been sent back to your bank account.

###
**Why did I receive a withdrawal cancellation email after submitting a request to close my account?**

If you had a pending withdrawal request and then submitted a closure request, the original withdrawal is automatically canceled. A new request is created to fully liquidate your account, which may trigger an email notifying you of the canceled withdrawal.

###
**Do I need to close my Titan account if I’m transferring to another firm?**

No. If you request an account transfer through your new firm, Titan will automatically close your account once the transfer is complete. You can view more information on transferring to another firm [here](https://help.titan.com/en_us/how-to-transfer-a-titan-account-to-another-firm-HkasRkPr9).

###
**How long does it take to receive funds after closing my account?**

* **Standard accounts:** Liquidation begins within 1–2 business days, and funds usually arrive in your linked bank account within 2–4 business days.

* **Transfers over $100,000:** Our custodian processes these in smaller batches of $100,000 or less per business day. You’ll receive multiple deposits over each business day until the full amount is delivered.

* **Interval funds:** Timelines differ. See Interval Funds below.

###
**Are there restrictions on withdrawals?**

Yes. The most common restriction is a mandatory holding period on recent deposits. You can learn more about the holding period [here](https://help.titan.com/en_us/withdrawal-restrictions-SyhqmJtrc).

If you’re unsure whether restrictions apply to your account, reach out to our team and we’d be happy to confirm before you initiate a withdrawal.

##
**Fees**

### **Are there fees to close my Titan account?**

Our custodian, Apex Clearing, may charge an account closure fee depending on account type:

* **Individual brokerage accounts:** No fee

* **IRA accounts:** $100 closure fee (waived if the account was never funded)

* * *

###
**Are there fees to transfer my account to another firm?**

Yes. Apex charges a **$100 transfer fee per transfer**. If you’re transferring an IRA, the $100 closure fee also applies.

**Examples:**

*   Individual account transfer → $100

*   IRA transfer → $100 transfer fee + $100 closure fee = $200

*   Both together → $300

Transfers are initiated by the receiving firm. You can find full instructions [here](https://help.titan.com/en_us/how-to-transfer-a-titan-account-to-another-firm-HkasRkPr9).

###
**Are there any other fees I should be aware of?**

Yes. Certain less common actions — such as wire transfers or mailed paper checks — may incur additional fees. A full list of ancillary fees is available [here](https://cdn.titanvest.com/disclosures/Titan_Fee_Schedule.pdf).

##
**After Account Closure**

### **Can I still access my tax documents and statements?**

Yes. You can log in at [www.titan.com/login](https://www.titan.com/login) to access:

*   Past statements

*   Tax documents

*   Other account history

Once your account is closed, no new financial activity will be possible, but statements and documents will be available for your access.

###
**How do I unsubscribe from Titan emails?**

* Clicking **“Unsubscribe”** or **“Manage Preferences”** at the bottom of any Titan email
    OR

* Contact our team at **support@titan.com** and we’ll take care of it for you.

##
**Interval Funds**

### **What should I know about closing an account with Interval Fund Holdings?**

* Liquidations occur only during quarterly redemption windows (four times per year). You can view dates in the app on the fund’s page.

* Proceeds typically reach your bank account within ~3 weeks of the redemption date.

* If liquidity is limited, you may receive a partial payout. Your account remains open until all funds are fully redeemed.

* Advisory and fund-level fees continue to apply while any balance remains invested.

* * *

###
**How do interval funds work?**

* Redemptions are processed quarterly, regardless of when requests are made.

* If demand is high, payouts are distributed pro-rata, meaning you may receive less than requested.

* Because of their illiquid nature, interval funds are generally best suited for long-term investors. Please review the fund’s prospectus for details.
