# Transferring Your IRA To Titan

Moving your retirement savings to Titan is simple. Whether you have a Traditional or Roth IRA at another firm, you can transfer it into a Titan IRA and gain access to our investment strategies. The key is to first open the **same type** of IRA at Titan (for example, a Roth IRA must be transferred into a Roth IRA). From there, our team will handle the rest.

**Step 1: Open the Right Type of Titan IRA**  
  

*   Option 1: Contact your wealth team who can assist you in opening this account. 
    
*   Option 2: On the Titan web, login to your Dashboard > tap **Open Account** and follow the prompts to set up your IRA.
    

Be sure to select the same type of IRA you’re transferring (Traditional or Roth).

**Step 2: Provide Your IRA Statement**  
  

Once your Titan IRA is open, email us your most recent IRA statement at **support@titan.com**. Our team will use this to initiate the transfer on your behalf.  
  
Alternatively, you can initiate the transfer from your web dashboard by clicking **Transfer Assets**.

**Roth Conversions**  
  

If you’d like to convert a Traditional IRA from another firm into a Roth IRA at Titan:

1.  First, we’ll ensure the transfer of your outside Traditional IRA into a **Titan Traditional IRA**.
    
2.  Once the transfer is complete, we can assist you in converting those funds into a Titan Roth IRA.

**Outgoing Transfer Fees**  
  

Some firms charge an outgoing transfer fee. If this happens:

*   Send us the statement from your old firm showing the fee.
    
*   Once your transfer has processed, we may be able to reimburse the amount back into your Titan account.

**After the Transfer**  
  

*   You’ll receive an email when your funds are available in Titan.
    
*   Funds are **not** automatically invested.
